On Thursday, NYC Mayor Eric Adams was indicted on charges of bribery, soliciting illegal overseas campaign donations, and cord fraud. apparently Sabrina carpenter's salacious church track video may have helped, too.
still this past year, chippie's "Feather" video ruffled quite a few feathers. It was shot at Williamsburg, Brooklyn's Our woman of Mount Carmel-Annunciation Parish, and, in usual Sabrina fashion, things got pretty racy. The parish's pastor, Msgr. Jamie J. Gigantiello, who's also a big apple city fireplace department chaplain, was finally stripped of his administrative responsibilities running the church.
Remaining week, a subpoena was issued thru federal investigators to the church requesting information about "commercial enterprise dealings" among Gigantiello and Adams' former leader of workforce Frank Carone. The Brooklyn Diocese confirmed the subpoena with the following: "it'd be irrelevant to remark similarly on that evaluate, which continues to be ongoing.". The Diocese is fully committed to cooperating with law enforcement in all investigations, including conduct at local parishes or pertaining to any priest."
The new york post and other outlets point out that the statement seems to suggest that the "Feather" song video was the reason for the federal investigation.
