A new label off the hands of well-known Berlin producer Objekt is about to move into the vivid music scene of the city. Expected to make its debut this October, Kapsela will reveal the dynamic solo EP "Chicken Garaage," representative of Objekt's characteristic sound.
Before that, however, comes a special treat for the fans on October 4: Kapsela celebrates ten years from Objekt's iconic cut "Ganzfeld," which had first seen the light of day as the B-side of his split single "Hypnagogia" together with Dopplereffekt. This reissue will be adorned with captivating remixes from such in-demand talents as Piezo, Djrum, and Ulla.
As well as releasing records, Kapsela will also organize international events, showcases and radio shows, so this isn't purely a Berlin-focused operation. Meanwhile, Objekt will retain his Wormhole residency in the city, so locals are still well catered for.
With Kapsela, Objekt intends to transcend the confines of the white-label format that has typified his previous singles since his 2011 debut with "The Goose That Got Away" b/w "Tinderbox," opening doors for new creative investigations. Listen for the titular "Ganzfeld" and its reinterpretations soon!
